Testing & Evaluation Our first step is to confirm which allergies are present and how severe they are. Patient history plays a large role here. In some cases skin testing is used to confirm suspected allergies. In vitro (blood) testing may be used to identify food and inhalant allergies.
Treatment Plan Based on your history, physical exam, and test results, we will develop a treatment plan for you that includes prescribing custom-formulated allergy drops. We might also recommend environmental changes and medication for symptom relief; however, most patients who take allergy drops find their need for medication decreases soon after drop therapy begins.
Receive your allergy drops Within three weeks, your allergy drops will be ready for you to pick up. We will demonstrate how to take the drops and answer any questions about your individual treatment plan.
Time & Consistency Now its up to you. Research shows that patients who take their drops three times a day report feeling better faster than those who only take them once or twice a day. Some patients feel symptom relief in just a few weeks.
Return Visits. Three months after receiving your drops, we will check your progress. Retesting is often necessary to see the decrease in allergen symptoms.
